Held in collaboration with Vaccines Europe, this event brings together regulators, industry leaders, and global health organizations to explore cutting-edge innovation, strategic collaboration, and policy frameworks that support vaccine advancement.
The workshop is structured around three key thematic areas:
Vaccine Development Strategies
This session explores strategic perspectives on vaccine development, featuring insights from a regulatory authority, the non-governmental organization CEPI, and an industry representative. Additional input will be provided on model-driven vaccine development and innovative approaches along the development pathway.
The session will conclude with an interactive panel discussion bringing together experts from CEPI, the Swedish Medical Products Agency, and Vaccines Europe, who will discuss current challenges and future directions in vaccine development from regulatory, non-governmental, and industry perspectives.
Advancing European Competitiveness: Innovation in Vaccine Manufacturing
Dive into the evolving regulatory frameworks and technological frontiers driving manufacturing innovation. Hear directly from European Medicines Agency, GSK, and Johnson & Johnson about how artificial intelligence, cross-modality strategies, and new regulatory tools are shaping the next generation of vaccine production.
Advancing European Competitiveness: Innovation in Vaccine Manufacturing – Case Studies
This session focuses on real-world case studies from companies such as HIPRA and Sanofi, spotlighting various technology platforms. Participants will engage in table discussions to define current gaps, identify regulatory needs, and suggest collaborative paths forward. The session also addresses the intersection of EU packaging and labelling regulations with sustainability goals, with perspectives on how to balance innovation and compliance in practice.
