Dear Colleague,

We would like to invite you to the 2023 PDA The Future of Drug Delivery Workshop to take place on 16 October 2023.

As a prelude to the 20th PDA Universe of Prefilled Syringes and Injection Devices Conference in Gothenburg, this one-day workshop provides a useful context and perspective on the technologies, opportunities and realities of self-administered drug delivery devices which are not syringes and auto-injectors. This is entirely appropriate since the term 'Parenteral' on drug administration means non-oral, and not reliant upon the alimentary canal for delivery.

In a packed one-day program, acknowledged industry expert speakers will share experiences and insights on topics including the development, manufacture and regulatory aspects of self-administration delivery devices.

Leading figures in device usability assessment and clinicians with extensive experience in patient training will provide real-world examples and guidance on aligning the device with the patient's needs and preferences.

There will be a series of brief but highly informative 'deep dive' presentations by leading experts on key drug delivery technologies: wearable delivery devices, needle-free injection, and nasal delivery.

The day will include interactive roundtable sessions, a lively interactive questionnaire session and ample opportunity for Q&A discussions, including meeting the experts over lunch and coffee breaks.

We look forward to welcoming you!

Sincerely,
The Workshop Leaders
