Making Connections to Last a Lifetime

by Shannon Sperati, PDA, Inc.

We all know that the 2023 PDA Annual Meeting is the premier event on pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing science and technology, and this year is no different. However, top-notch education is not the only benefit of attending; it’s also the perfect place to grow your professional network!

Some of you would rather stand in line at the DMV for hours on end to avoid having to break the ice and network with new peers. But what if you could go into these networking situations knowing that everyone there had a shared interest in the same topics or, better yet, were excited about the latest explorations in developing new modalities and adopting innovative approaches and processes?

Well, if nerding out with your fellow manufacturing leaders, technical experts/scientists and early career professionals sound like your cup of tea, then we are happy to share that you too can be part of these exciting networking opportunities at the 2023 PDA Annual Meeting. After attending sessions on topics that are important to you, you will have multiple opportunities to enjoy networking breaks, lunches and happy hour in the exhibit hall with other like-minded individuals. There, you will not only have countless opportunities to discuss these sessions, but you will also find hot topic posters, informative tech talks and vendors with state-of-the-art solutions.

This year’s fabulous meeting location and a free evening on Tuesday (new this year!) provide the opportunity to take advantage of New Orleans’ unique and vibrant atmosphere. With over 1,000 eateries for dining, you will have no trouble finding a fantastic place to enjoy dinner with your new connections. But that is not all. You can discover more about your new peers by joining them on one of the many tours available all over town. Finally, building a professional network is one of the most important things you can do for your career. There is no better place to add or start building that network than at the 2023 PDA Annual Meeting in New Orleans.
