I joined PDA a couple of years after graduating from college. Joining at the beginning of my career has allowed me to build my network and feel connected to others in the industry. Since joining PDA I have gained a deeper industry perspective, found trusted mentors, and felt even greater pride for the life-changing work we do. It is rewarding to receive the PDA Outstanding Career Professional Award, as I believe it signifies my commitment to the organization and my hope to continue my engagement throughout my career. PDA is an organization of leaders in the industry who I greatly admire, and therefore, I am extremely honored to be recognized for this achievement. Lastly, I feel there is a great opportunity to leverage advanced technology and integrate new ways of thinking in biopharmaceuticals, which will be important conversations many early career professionals in the industry will drive. Therefore, the PDA Outstanding Career Professional Award specifically means a lot to me as I feel recognized and trusted to step up and help drive those changes for the future of our industry.
PDA is at the forefront of our industry, leading challenging conversations and helping to solve the most complex problems. The honor of PDA Outstanding Career Professional Award will help me encourage other early career professionals in the industry to feel excited about the possibilities in our industry, to collaborate, and to spur positive advancements in the industry. Early career professionals will be tackling many complex challenges, and I feel this award will enhance my ability to help lead those conversations. Industry recognition is important, as I believe it supports collaboration among our industry and keeps us focused on our main mission: saving patients.
I would like to continue to develop my expertise in the ATMP space, broaden my network across the industry, and encourage advancements in our industry towards a common goal: saving patients. I am inspired by collaboration; people working together towards a common goal. I am inspired by embracing change, like new technologies and ways of thinking. I am inspired by our mission to save lives and to at the end of the day, see how our work has a direct positive impact on patients.
