Kymanox Corporation

I joined PDA in 2004 when I still lived in Europe, and I was interested in organizing a conference for pre-filled syringes and looking for someone to partner with. Somehow all the arrows pointed to PDA. Back in the day, they already had some infrastructure in Europe. We reached out to see how we could partner in this effort and now it is the biggest conference of the year for PDA.

PDA offered a neck for nonprofits in our space, almost like a safe space for you to communicate with peers and potential suppliers. It also gives the opportunity to really get together at conferences, which is priceless to me. Over the years, I’ve attended many events. This is quite a longstanding relationship. I’ve been asked to co-chair the Universe of Pre-Filled Syringes Conference which is a great highlight for me and will hopefully turn out to be a meaningful program for attendees. Even the exhibition has grown exponentially. In 2004 we had just a few tabletops and now it’s over 100 exhibitors with a waitlist.

It’s so nice to be recognized and receive this token of appreciation. I’m not far away from retiring but believe I will still remain engaged with PDA for as long as possible.
