Award Winner (Service Appreciation Award) 2023: Javier Camposano, MBA

Prior to Samsung, he was COO at Lifera, Saudi Arabia, a PIF owned company supporting one of the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision in the biopharmaceutical sector. Before moving to Saudi Arabia, Javier led the Drug Product Expansion group at Celltrion Inc. directing turnkey DP manufacturing projects. In this capacity he led the establishment of a pre-filled syringe facility including secondary packaging with Auto injector operations. During his tenure in Biosimilar manufacturing, Celltrion successfully attained EMA and US FDA approvals of the first mAbs in 2013 and 2016 respectively. Javier started his pharmaceutical career at Baxter Bioscience working in a variety of Fill and Finish Engineering and supervisory positions leading Aseptic Filling CAPEXs, technology transfers, commercial development projects and supervising cross functional functions.
His experience spans over 25 years in engineering and commercial manufacturing. Javier holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Davis and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
