Overview

Many biotech companies and some pharma companies today are small, “virtual” organizations that outsource most GxP-governed activities such as clinical trials, manufacturing, packaging, laboratory testing, and drug safety monitoring. Such companies often lack in-house knowledge of GCP, GLP and GMP requirements, or have such knowledge vested in very few people. The prospect of an FDA inspection can be a daunting one, as can ensuring that your vendors will pass FDA scrutiny.

This training course will help you understand what you need to have in place, what the high-risk areas are, and how best to manage those risks as you grow and bring activities in-house. This training course explains the GMP, GCP and GLP responsibilities of virtual companies or others who predominately outsource GxP-governed activities.

    A block of rooms have been reserved for meeting participants at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel. The rate is $322 for single or double occupancy. Guestroom rates are subject to State and Local taxes. Reservations must be secured by Friday, August 14, 2020. After this date, reservations can be made on a space-and-rate available basis only. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m.; check-out time is 12:00 p.m.

    Individual Cancellation

    Please be aware that obtaining and canceling hotel reservations is the responsibility of the meeting registrant. Individuals will be responsible for payment of their own cancellation fees. The cancellation policy is 3 days prior to the date of arrival by 6:00 p.m. (EST) to avoid cancellation fees.

Taxi
Taxi fares from Reagan National are approximately $20 one way, not including tip, and will take about 20 minutes. One way taxi fares from Dulles is approximately $75 and from BWI is about $75.

Gallery Place Metro Station is 0.5 miles away from the hotel and is approximately $2.50 one way to Reagan National.

If an event is cancelled, registrants will be notified by PDA as soon as possible and will receive a full refund. PDA will not be responsible for any costs incurred by registrants due to cancellation. SUBSTITUTION: If a substitution request is sent by Sep 03, 2020, no fee will be charged. After Sep 03, 2020, a $200 fee will be charged. If you are a non-member substituting for a member, you will be required to pay the difference of the non-member fee.

REFUND: If a refund request is sent by Sep 03, 2020, a full refund will be given minus a $200 fee. After Sep 03, 2020, no refunds will be given. Refund requests must either be faxed to + (301) 986-1093 or emailed to [email protected]. Phone messages are not accepted.
