Join us for a discussion on why Critical Thinking and Data Integrity go hand in hand and how those two concepts are applied in the business of Rare/Ultra Rare pharmaceutical development.
Critical thinking is defined as the objective analysis and evaluation of an issue in order to form a judgment. It requires the mind to work with opposing, yet complimentary ways of thinking.
Systematic and analytical thinking must meet judiciousness, curiosity and metacognition, an awareness of and understanding of one’s own thought processes, including bias. Critical thinking skills are necessary to ensure data integrity as well as the effectiveness of the systems governing the quality and control of the data.
Our industry experts will share their thoughts on how critical thinking impacts data integrity, how FDA is looking at data integrity issues, and how one rare disease company incorporates critical thinking and data integrity into its business model.
Speakers:
- Monica Cahilly, President, Green Mountain Quality Assurance LLC
- Lori Richter is the Director of Risk Management at Ultragenyx
