Michael Frank
Director of Operations
Akron Pharmaceuticals

Michael is a seasoned operations professional with over twenty-seven years of diversified experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He is currently Director of Operations with Akorn Pharmaceuticals, and was formerly Senior Director of Operations and site GM for Teva Pharmaceuticals. Michael is skilled in all areas of leading manufacturing operations, including facilities engineering, project management, continuous improvement, quality assurance, and environmental, health and safety. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University.

Jesse Woodhull
Senior Manager for Strategy and Risk
Genentech

Jesse is a Senior Manager for Strategy and Risk for Oceanside Product Operations. His work focuses on the risk portfolio process and business continuity management, and is also very engaged in strategic priorities and goals for the site. He joined Genentech as an Upstream Manufacturing technician in 2009, coming from Amgen. Soon after, he became an Upstream Lead and worked up the operational ranks, and was promoted to a Senior Supervisor in 2016. Jesse completed his LSS green belt training in 2017. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from UC Davis, and a MBA from Pepperdine University.
