The ISO/DIS 11040-8 standard, titled "Prefilled Syringes – Requirements and Test Methods for Finished Prefilled Syringes," outlines the requirements and test methods for prefilled syringes that are aseptically filled or terminally sterilized. This standard focuses on ensuring the quality, functional performance, and safety of these syringes. What can we expect from the new draft ISO/DIS 11040-8?
