We will discuss trends in the last few years where we have seen an explosion of companies applying deep tech to drug discovery and development.
Recursion is a leader in the digital drug discovery space, generating a massive dataset featuring images of human cellular biology. Recursion images more than 500,000 human cell cultures every week using laboratory automation and translates that dataset into leads for drug development. Two of those leads are currently at the clinical trial stage with dozens more programs in the pre-clinical pipeline.
Our evening's esteemed qualified speaker, Tina M. Larson joined Recursion after more than 20 years in biopharma. She will discuss what it is like to work at a tech meets biotech startup as well as give an overview of Recursion and the broader field of artificial intelligence for drug discovery.
