PDA New England Chapter is pleased to announce Exploring the Digital World Further:  Electronic Work Instructions (EWIs) webinar.

Are you ready for something new?

At this webinar a panel of Sanofi Quality professionals will delve into the world of EWIs. These panelists will share their strategies and visions for implementing EWIs in manufacturing, etc. The risks, the benefits and the controls required to maintain compliance will be presented.

The panelists include:

  • Tara Girshick - QA Director of Digital Compliance
  • Andy Chan - Associate Director and Digital Manufacturing Lead
  • Kim Ferris - Principal Quality Documentation, Quality Systems

Tara Girshick has 20+ years of experience in the industry spanning QC, manufacturing, pre-clinical drug development, and multiple areas of Quality Assurance. She specializes in Data Integrity and has worked supporting digital initiatives through the lens of Quality over the past decade. She presently is part of BioPhorum for In-Line Monitoring and Real Time Release testing adoption. In her current role she leads  a team of diversely talented Quality professionals who support the implementation of digital initiatives and life cycle management of digital products.

Andy Chan is the Associate Director and Digital Manufacturing Lead for Sanofi responsible for the digital strategic direction, vision and performance of Sanofi’s Factory of the Future. As a seasoned professional with 20 years of biotech experience, Andy has led the digitization of production batch records and work instructions at ISPE’s 2020 Facility of the Year.

Kim Ferris has 14 years of experience working in the Biotech industry. She specializes in Quality System Documentation and has supported the implementation of digital quality document management systems. Kim is passionate about enabling compliance across the QMS digital platforms for end users and the business.
