This Webinar provides a brief overview of current visual inspection practices applied to injectable or parenteral products. 100% visual inspection is required by regulations to control product quality. It focuses on the detection of visible particles and other product attributes as well as the defects of the container/closure system. Inspection may be through human vision with manual handling or by automated machine vision technology. Recent advances including a review of current compendial requirements and evolving regulatory expectations will be discussed.
