Lara (Soltis) Iovino has an extensive background in Production and Controlled environments. She is currently a Strategic Account Manager for Production and Controlled Environments at Fisher Scientific, the distribution arm of Thermo Fisher Scientific.

With over 20 years’ experience, Lara started out as a QA Microbiologist at J&J, writing SOPs, validation procedures, FDA submissions, and QA protocols. She also held the position of Product Manager at Biotest (now MilliporeSigma) where she oversaw the Environmental Monitoring product line of Air Samplers, Particle Counters and culture media. She then held the position of Regional Sales Manager for ITW Texwipe where she managed the Mid-Atlantic territory for Cleanroom consumables including wipers, pre-wetted wipers, disinfectants, stationery, mops and tacky mats. Lara also was a Global Account Manager for the Industrial Division at Ansell Healthcare managing key accounts in North America for PPE (gloves: single use, sterile, clean, chemical, isolator; and protective apparel.) She is a Subject Matter Expert for Controlled Environments and Laboratory and has experience in Food, Chemical, Paper/Packaging, and Machinery & Equipment industries.

She is an active volunteer and past President of the PDA Metro Chapter and has spoken for PDA, CleanRooms, Barnett, IVT, IEST and Health Canada. Ms. Iovino has an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Marketing and Bachelors of Science in Biology from The College of New Jersey.
