Program

It is a constant battle keeping manufacturing facilities and processes free of microbial contaminants.  What to do when the microbial invaders get the upper hand, due to natural disaster, engineering failures, break down in processes, or other reasons?

We have assembled a team of experts from Steris, Chlordisys, and Veltek who will share the latest technology available to push the invaders back. They will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of specific chemical agents, such as chlorine dioxide and vaporized hydrogen peroxide. They will also discuss application technologies and validation of effectiveness.

Our experts will share case studies - including decontamination of a beta lac-tam producing facility.

At the end of the presentation, there will be an opportunity for panel questions and answers.

Speakers

Steven Feinstein, Director of Sales for Controlled Environment, STERIS.

Steven has sales responsibilities for both the certification and decontamination services and is responsible for the delivery of all aspects of VHP decontamination service offering.  Prior to becoming the Director of Sales at STERIS/CECS Group, Steven was the Director of Sales for Sixlog Corp. based in Southern California. Sixlog Corp. was a provider of ionized hydrogen peroxide based equipment and  decontamination services. Sixlog was then sold to STERIS in 2016.  Prior to that, Steven served as a Regional Sales Manager for Bioquell Inc.  Bioquell is a British manufacturer of hydrogen peroxide vapor generators, and Steven covered the Western half of North America for them.

Before his days with Bioquell, Steven had his own company for twelve years- Medical Repair Laboratories Inc, which was one of the first companies to test, certify and decontaminate controlled-environments and critical laboratory equipment.

Steven decided to sell his business to a national competitor, ENV Services and became their Director of Sales, Marketing and Business Development. He rebuilt this organization's entire sales force from the ground up and revitalized its branding by developing all new marketing approaches and marketing collateral.

Steven graduated from the George Washington University and has over twenty-five years of experience within his current field of expertise.
