We are pleased to invite you to the PDA Innovation in Sustainable Packaging Workshop 2026, taking place on 22 January 2026 in Paris, France, on the second day of PHARMAPACK 2026.

The workshop is structured around three key thematic areas:
Redefining Material Transfer for Annex 1 Compliance
Discover a unique and sustainable strategy for sterile material transfer systems. This session includes an interactive demonstration and group work on
current strategies, customization, and innovation in sterile barrier systems.
Ecodesign for Pharmaceutical Devices
Explore tangible ecodesign principles applied to pharmaceutical devices. Participants will engage in a brainstorming session to transfer these insights across different
parts of the value chain.
Future-Ready Aseptic Fill-Finish Packaging
Examine innovations in aseptic fill-finish packaging, including container closure systems, secondary packaging requirements, connectivity to filling
equipment, and approaches to minimizing the environmental footprint of Annex 1-compliant lines.
Throughout the day, attendees will benefit from structured networking opportunities, hands-on activities, and collaborative discussions with peers and experts.
