PDA Australia Chapter: 25 Years Celebration

The PDA Australia Chapter and the PDA Australia Students and Young Professionals group invite you to join us as we celebrate and reflect on the past 25 years of PDA in Australia! 

David Spaulding (Partner & Training Manager, Seer Pharma) - will take us for walk down memory lane to a time when the pharmaceutical industry in Australia looked a little different, reflecting on the changing regulatory landscape over the years that has brought us into the current and the most challenging of years yet as we continue to operate during a global pandemic!

Laureate Professor Peter Doherty (Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity) - During the pandemic the Doherty Institute has been called upon to provide epidemiological modelling for interpretation by the Commonwealth Government as they roll out the National Plan to transition Australia's National COVID Response. Peter will share join us to his Perspectives on the Pandemic followed by a Q&A session.

Pauline Deng (GCSP Regions Specialist, CSL Limited) and Adi Alhuwaider (Senior Research Assistant, St Vincent’s Institute Medical Research) our Student and Young Professional Quizmasters, will test your knowledge with bragging rights and a prize for the winner up for grabs.

In addition to these wonderful speakers and quizmasters, the evening will include a virtual networking session where you can catch up with industry contacts you may not have 'seen' for a while, chat with our Australian Chapter Committee members and share a story from past PDA Australia Chapter events.
