Get the most value out of your trip!

Attend the PDA Pharmaceutical Microbiology Conference 2025 before the Training Course to connect with experts and set the stage for deeper learning.

Learn environmental monitoring techniques and how to investigate excursions. When alert and action levels are exceeded, appropriate investigations are required. Firms need to thoroughly investigate these excursions to find the root cause and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA). This training course will help the attendee learn the techniques of environmental monitoring, how to conduct a thorough investigation as well as corrective and preventative actions to help mitigate another excursion. This training course will include 6 hours of classroom activities.

Upon completion of this event, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify the different techniques used in environmental monitoring such as viable/non-viable sampling, surface sampling, swabbing, personnel monitoring and water testing
  2. Explain regulations associated with environmental monitoring
  3. Identify common errors in setting up and implementing an environmental monitoring program
  4. Investigate environmental monitoring excursions
  5. Implement corrective and preventive actions once a root cause has been established

Please visit the PDA Environmental Monitoring Training Courses page for more options and/or related events!
