Overview

This training course focuses on cleaning and disinfection best practices. Topics covered during classroom training includes best practices in bio-burden control, cleaning and disinfection. There will also be a hands-on practical session on the application of disinfectants onto surfaces and residue removal practices. In addition, there will be group case studies on designing a robust cleaning and disinfection program as well as the method of investigation related to microbial contamination.

Neo has been with STERIS Corporation since 2007 providing sales and technical support for STERIS’ range of Life Sciences equipment and formulated chemistries. In 2013, he joined the Contamination Control Solutions team to oversee the business development of the process & research cleaners, critical environment disinfectants and sporicides and also the sterility assurance range of products. He also manages the channel network and distribution of STERIS products in Asia Pacific. Prior to joining STERIS, he has 7 years of manufacturing and training with Wyeth and Schering Plough. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Hons1) from University, Singapore.

Richard Chai has been with STERIS Corporation since 2016 in the Technical Service group, responsible for the technical support for disinfectants and formulated cleaners. He provides technical training, technical information and troubleshooting related to contamination control to customers globally. He is also a speaker in various industry events such as ISPE, PDA and Interphex. Prior to joining STERIS, he has 16 years of manufacturing and validation experience working in sterile fill and finish, biopharmaceutical and medical device companies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
