Yelena Ionova, Pharm.D. is a regulatory data strategy leader and trained pharmacist with extensive expertise in quality compliance analytics, regulatory intelligence, and post-market surveillance. She currently serves as Senior Manager of Data Strategy & Analytics at Redica Systems, where she leads strategic initiatives to enhance regulatory analytics and intelligence for quality risk management.
Yelena Ionova has guided regulatory intelligence frameworks, integrated complex global data sources, and delivered actionable insights to support pharmaceutical and medical device clients. Previously, she held roles as a global regulatory consultant, postdoctoral scholar at UCSF Health Policy and Economics, and fellow at the U.S. Pharmacopeia Quality Institute. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Pain Medicine, Epilepsy Research, and Clinical and Translational Science, and she is a frequent presenter at scientific forums.
She earned her Pharm.D. from the University of California, San Francisco, and dual bachelor’s degrees in Molecular Toxicology and French from UC Berkeley. A Certified Quality Science Professional (CQSP), she brings a rare blend of scientific rigor and data-driven innovation.
