Tim Bassler PhD Pfizer

Bryan (TIm) Bassler is Vice President, Sterile and Biologics Quality supporting Pfizer's Puurs, Kalamazoo, and Rocky Mount manufacturing sites. He has been with Pfizer for 2 years in this same role, driving improved collaboration between sites to enable compliance and supply improvements. Prior to joining Pfizer Tim spent 20 years with Merck. In his last role at Merck he was the AVP, Small Molecule External Manufacturing Quality. He supported the team providing quality oversite for approximately 150 external partners and deployed a risked based Quality oversite model to those partners. Prior to this role Tim was the West Point manufacturing site Quality lead, supporting the site through the COVID pandemic. He holds an PhD and Masters in Material Science and Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering all from Vanderbilt University. Tim lives in Doylestown, PA with is wife, three children, and four dogs.
