Thomas Schomogy Pfizer

Thomas Schomogy, M.S. Tom leads the pyrogenicity team within the Analytical Bioassay and Impurity Sciences group at Pfizer, where he has worked for the past 20 years at the company’s St. Louis, Missouri facility. In addition to his current focus on bioassay development and pyrogenic impurities, Tom brings prior experience in microbiology, quality control, and the preparation of regulatory submissions to global health authorities. He has contributed to initiatives aimed at modernizing safety testing for biologics and aligning analytical strategies with scientific and regulatory expectations, and will be presenting today on the evolution of pyrogen testing.
