Theresa Jeary BSI

Theresa Jeary holds a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland, and has over 30 years’ experience working in both the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industries. In addition to her product development and global regulatory expertise, Theresa has over 14 years of Notified Body experience, having worked for both LRQA, where she held the role of Head of Notified Body, and BSI. Theresa is the Global Head of the Medicinal and Biologics Team at BSI, which is a specialised Team with responsibility for devices with ancillary medicinal substances, borderline and device classification, Article 117 NB opinions, Rule 21 devices, devices utilising biological materials, and IVF/ART devices. Theresa is a regular presenter on MDR Implementation, Combination products, and Article 117, and regularly contributes to various scientific publications and regulatory guidance
