Soroosh Bagheriasl PhD BioPhorum

A materials scientist by training, Soroosh Bagheriasl joined BioPhorum in 2022, bringing over a decade of experience in the medical device industry. With a PhD in Biomaterials Science, Soroosh possesses extensive technical, commercial, and regulatory expertise gained through roles as a Principal Consultant and Commercial Manager. His work has spanned collaborations with both innovative start-ups and established blue-chip organizations, equipping him with deep insights into the challenges faced by the devices industry. At BioPhorum, Soroosh serves as Phorum Director for the Drug Delivery Phorum, fostering collaboration across the global drug delivery and combination products industry. He is passionate about accelerating progress by enabling organizations to share challenges and co-develop solutions in areas such as device development. Soroosh also brings valuable experience from his involvement in European research projects, where he contributed to turning Europe’s research results into innovations that generate value for the economy and society while advancing sustainability. These collaborative endeavors provided him with a deep understanding of how multinational teams can address complex challenges and deliver impactful outcomes, creating a repository of success stories for EU-funded Research and Innovation.
