Søren Holm Rasmussen, MSc GEA Process Engineering
Søren holds a master degree in food technology from the Technical University of Denmark and the University of Copenhagen. His studies had a special focus on heat and mass transfer processes in food processing. Simultaneously with his studies, Søren gained 5 years’ operational experience with radiation type freeze dryers producing lactic acid bacteria.
After his graduation, and during the past four years, he has been employed by GEA as a process specialist in freeze drying of food. Søren’s primary task is to serve GEA’s customers that freeze dry lactic acid bacteria, but he is also involved in many other projects such as freeze drying of raw meat for pet food companies or freeze drying of fruit for companies supplying products to the cereal industry
