Sophia graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.S. in Cell and Developmental Biology. Before joining Mango, she was the Quality Control Lead for Manufacturing at a cultivated meat startup, where she ensured the highest standards of quality in production and maintained rigorous quality control measures. At Mango, Sophia serves as a Scientist I, designing and performing experiments to test our cutting-edge instruments and software against a variety of microbial organisms. Her ability to grasp complex quality control solutions allows her to support and drive new innovations within the field. She is excited to bring innovative solutions to microbiology and modernize quality control processes.
