Simon Moss Pfizer

Simon Moss is a Principal Human Factors Engineer working at Pfizer's devices centre of excellence. Since joining Pfizer in 2018, Simon has led Human Factors activities for device development and post-market drug delivery programmes, focusing on bringing novel devices to provide benefits to patients. Before his current role, Simon led Human Factors activities at two large innovation consultancies, fulfilling a range of consultancy roles for clients, including facilitation, technical problem solving, design thinking, user research/human factors, and regulatory submission. He also led Human Factors and Industrial Design activities at an acute care medical device company and established an Industrial Design consultancy. Some of the recent projects include on-body and electro-mechanical devices, software medical devices, app design, and electronic instructions for use. Simon is at the forefront of device development, putting the patient's experience first to deliver best-in-class products, focusing on ease of use and improved usability as core principles.
