Sakiko Shimizu MA Terumo Corporation

Sakiko Shimizu is the Chief Scientist at Terumo R&D Center. She graduated Master's degree from Osaka University and joined Terumo in 2010. Since she joined Terumo, she has engaged in Immucise Intradermal Injection System developments from the early stage to the late stage. Since 2019, she has been involved in the intradermal drug delivery research to achieve effective vaccine delivery as Chief Scientist. Recently, her research interest in intradermal delivery has expanded to lymphatic drug delivery. Today, she will open new insights in terms of intradermal delivery applications.
