Biography: Dr Patrick Courtney, MBA (King's College London) has 20 years industrial experience in developing solutions for the biopharmaceutical industry. He worked as Director for global firms such as PerkinElmer, where he led the QA function, as well as at Sartorius and Cap Gemini. He co-leads a European working group on analytical laboratory robotics and is member of board of directors of SiLA (Standards in Laboratory Automation). He led the creation of the TraceBot consortium. He holds an MBA with a PhD in Robotic Engineering/Molecular Biology, has 100 publications and is named on ten patents.
