Olufemi Rabiu PhD Innoviva Specialty Therapeutics

Dr. Olufemi Rabiu is a global pharmaceutical executive with over three decades of leadership in drug development, manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory strategy. He currently serves as Senior Vice President at Innoviva Specialty Therapeutics Inc., where he leads global initiatives in product quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance for therapies targeting critical care and infectious diseases. Dr. Rabiu’s career spans multinational organizations across Africa, the UK, and the US, including senior leadership roles at Evelo Biosciences, Pfizer, Shire (now Takeda), and Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals. His contributions to public health extend to the UK’s National Health Service, where he played a pivotal role in advancing pediatric drug formulation and regulatory standards through positions at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation Trust and Great Ormond Street Hospital. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a certified EU Qualified Person (QP-IMP), Dr. Rabiu has served on WHO expert committees and provided strategic guidance to the Nigerian Army Drug Manufacturing Company. He holds a PhD in Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy from the University of Ibadan and a postdoctoral master’s in Science Entrepreneurship from Bayes Business School, City St Georges, University of London.
