Nick Brydon MS, CISS-EO/RAD/MH NextBeam

Nick Brydon is the Head of Sterilization at NextBeam, a 10 MeV electron beam irradiator in North Sioux City, South Dakota. Nick holds a B.S. in Molecular Biology from Rhodes College and a M.S. in Microbiology from the University of Florida and is a certified industrial sterilization specialist in ethylene oxide, radiation, and moist heat (CISS-EO/RAD/MH). He is actively involved in industry standards development, currently serving as co-chair of AAMI Sterilization Working Group 8 for microbiological methods and his research is mostly focused on industrial microbiology topics such as the effect of sterilization on bacterial endotoxin and sterility assurance for products with low average bioburden.
