Michael R. De Felippis, Ph.D., serves as the Senior Vice President of Research in the Bioproduct Research and Development Organization at Eli Lilly and Company. With 35 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, Dr. De Felippis provides strategic scientific oversight for the CMC activities within Lilly's biopharmaceutical product portfolio. His responsibilities include analytical development, process and product development, control strategy design, and the preparation of CMC-related regulatory documentation to support global licensure. Additionally, Dr. De Felippis is actively involved in professional activities outside of Lilly, such as being a member of the European Pharmacopoeia Gene Therapy Products Working Party and the EFPIA ATMP Manufacturing and GMP Sub-team.
