Melissa J Cramer is the Technical Operations Laboratory Manager at Charles River Labs where she leads a team focused on the detection of bacterial endotoxins and the design and continuous improvement of natural and recombinant reagents. She has over 14 years of experience working in molecular biology and microbiology, with a focus on DNA extraction and sequencing, microbiology analytical validation, and bioburden and endotoxin detection analytical methods. Missy received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, and her Master of Science from the University of South Carolina. She has been a member of the CRL team since 2022, starting in Technical Operations as an individual contributor before moving to Laboratory Manager in 2023.
