Mark Gracie Pfizer

Mark Gracie is currently the Laboratory Technical Services Manager at Pfizer Melbourne. With a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Ballarat University with over three decades of laboratory experience. Mark's career began in Formulation Development at RP Scherer. Over the years, he has gained expertise in method validation, equipment validation, and computer system validation. Mark has been with Pfizer (including its predecessors Hospira, Mayne, and Faulding) for nearly 30 years, advancing through various Technical Support roles to his current position.

Mark is passionate about improving laboratory efficiency in the pharmaceutical environment and is dedicated to evaluating new technologies that balance quality, cost, and efficiency through automation. This includes exploring the use of AI to determine its applicability or capability in the pharmaceutical environment.
