Jun Shimizu, Ph.D. Director/Executive Officer at MiCAN Technologies Inc., Kyoto, Japan. Studying on the use of immortalized human monocyte cell line, Mylc, especially in the field of pyrogen-detection and virus-infection. Interested in the roles and function of myeloid lineage cells in various immune responses, and seeking possible application of our Mylc cells in various field. Some of the current application of Mylc cells includes Mylc-MAT kit for pyrogen detection; and investigation of antibody-dependent enhancement on Dengue and SARS-CoV-2 infections.
