Jun Ordonez Sr. Manager - Pfizer Gene Therapy (GTx) Technical Services Drug Substance/Product – Sanford NC. His team performs scientific, operational and process engineering tasks related to technology transfer and routine manufacturing support. Leading in the execution optimization, implementation, troubleshooting, tracking, and reporting of a variety of manufacturing processes for GTx clinical and commercial production. Prior to joining the Gene Therapy group, he was a Manager of Pfizer’s Global Technology and Engineering (GT&E) – Visual Inspection. Served as a scientific and technical representative addressing process-related Visual Inspection (VI) issues within Pfizer network or Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO). Responsibilities also include managing implementation of Visual Inspection Technical Transfer and support to CMO; provide sound rationale to support Automated Visual Inspection (AVI) Capital requirements to obtain necessary project approval; oversee multiple high capital projects that are critical to site/s operations; provide strategies to ensure that VI programs are robust and defendable on regulatory audits; and conduct routine Visual Inspection Program assessments to multiple network sites.
