As a mechanical engineer, Joseph works on a variety of engineering projects across the medical device development cycle. “The pivotal role that medical devices play in modern healthcare systems and the opportunity to contribute to their design and innovation is what drives me in medical engineering.” Joseph graduated from Cardiff University in 2020, with a First Class Master’s degree in Medical Engineering. He completed a year in industry at Olympus Surgical Technologies Europe where he worked on the development of electrosurgical instruments, and he has also completed a summer placement at Renishaw.
