John Wadding Sanofi

Mr Wadding received his B.Eng. degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Limerick, Ireland, with a post-graduate diploma in Management. Since graduation Mr Wadding has worked in various large volume manufacturing roles specializing in machine automation and automated visual inspection, including Philips Lighting in the Netherlands, and Honeywell in Ireland. In 1997 he moved into the medical device arena with Bausch & Lomb (Ireland) where he worked for 19 years in Global Engineering in various roles, becoming Principal Engineer responsible for developing automated visual inspection solutions across several Bausch & Lomb sites worldwide. Mr Wadding joined Sanofi in 2015 and was tasked with setting up the inspection processes for Insulin and mAbs PFS. He currently holds the position of MSAT Visual Inspection SME and works closely with Engineering, Operations and Quality developing new inspection technologies and strategies across the Sanofi organisation. He holds 2 US Patents in the areas of automated manufacturing and automated inspection.
