Jean-Christophe Veilleux PhD Eli Lilly and Company Senior Director - Mechanical & Materials Engineering (Delivery, Devices and Connected Solutions)
JC Veilleux is currently the Senior Director of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at Lilly in the Delivery, Device and Connected Solutions (DDCS) organization. He earned a B.S. in Engineering Physics from Laval University (Quebec, Canada), an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Laval University, an M.S. in Aerospace from Caltech (Pasadena, California), and a Ph.D. in Aerospace from Caltech. His doctoral research project was a collaboration between Caltech and Amgen focused on the physics & the mechanics of spring-driven autoinjector devices.
Since joining Eli Lilly in 2019, JC worked on various projects that relate to test method development, primary packaging engineering, early and late-stage combination product development, as well as broadening our understanding of the physics of autoinjector devices and injection physiology. JC started leading the mechanical and materials engineering team in 2024.
