Jari Acocella ten23 health

Jari Acocella MSc joined ten23 health in 2023 as a Scientist in Formulation and Process Development for sterile drug products bringing more than ten years of experience in drug product manufacturing and process development. Prior to this role, he joint Novartis, Basel, Switzerland, in 2012 in different roles and lately co-lead the ISO quality unit at ten23 health. He specialized in syringe stopper technologies and the quality aspects of ready-to-use primary packaging material. He holds a BSc in Pharmaceutical Technology and an MSc in Drug Sciences from the University of Basel, where his master’s thesis focused on the quality of prefilled syringes for intravitreal drug delivery. His current work centers on ensuring compatibility, performance, and regulatory compliance of prefilled syringes and novel primary packaging containers for different parenteral routes of administration, including subcutaneous or intravitreal delivery.
