Ivana Ferstera, PhD, is a Scientific Advisor at Levitronix GmbH. She obtained her PhD in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich, where she conducted her doctoral research in collaboration with Levitronix. Her work focused on the design and development of novel magnetically levitated fans for semiconductor applications. She now applies this expertise to magnetically levitated fans for the pharmaceutical industry to improve hydrogen peroxide distribution during decontamination.
