Helerin Eiche PhD State Agency of Medicines (Estonia)

Dr. Eiche earned her PhD in Cell Biology from the University of Tartu in 2016 and is currently finalising her MSc in Biopharmaceutical Science at the Atlantic Technological University. She works as a quality assessor for biotechnological medicinal products at the Estonian Medicines Agency. Additionally, Dr. Eiche is a dedicated member of the EMA Biologics Working Party (BWP). She leads the BWP drafting group focused on establishing a quality guideline for phage therapy medicinal products. This initiative aims to facilitate the development of these promising antimicrobial therapeutics. With a keen interest in phage therapy, Dr. Eiche is also committed to improving the regulatory landscape for phage therapy.
