Fitore Kasumaj PhD Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine

Fitore Kasumaj is Principal Engineer for Primary Packaging within the MSAT Large Molecule Drug Product team at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines (J&J IM). She earned her Ph.D. in Physical Organic Chemistry and brings over 14 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily with J&J IM. In her current role, Fitore leads the Syringe Stronghold, where she focuses on defining platform PFS system components for drug product development and overseeing the evaluation and integration of new syringe technologies to address the evolving needs of therapeutic molecules. Previously, she served as both the local and global Drug Product Technical Owner for various commercial drug products, working with vials and syringes.
