Emanuel Joseph LMU Klinikum

Emanuel Joseph is a researcher at the LMU University Hospital in Munich, working at a postdoctoral level while currently awaiting the defense of his doctoral thesis. He is a radiochemist whose research focuses on the development of radiotracers for imaging neuroinflammation. His work is strongly centered on translational imaging, bridging radiochemistry and clinical application through close collaboration with clinicians, chemists, physicists, and veterinary scientists. In addition to his research on tracer development for neurodegenerative diseases, he is responsible for quality management at the LMU Radiopharmacy Center. In this role, he oversees the GMP-compliant production of PET tracers and radioligands for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and neurodegenerative disorders.
