Elisabeth Wagner CSL Behring

Elisabeth Wagner is the business process owner for visual inspection at CSL Behring. She joined the company in 2017 and took on increasingly responsible roles in visual inspection at the Bern site in Switzerland. Since 2021, she has been leading the global visual inspection programme within the CSL network and is primarily responsible for standardising processes and implementing best practices at all sites. Her main interests are establishing a lean and robust qualification process for employees and reducing false rejects in the inspection process to ensure patient supply with valuable medicines. She has a background in biotechnology and food sciences and more than ten years of industry experience, including quality control and visual inspection of parenteral drug products.
