Dusan Etienne American Cell Technology Director of Quality
Mr. Etienne has been researching stem cells for over a decade. In 2020, he joined American Cell Technology (ACT) to expand his expertise in stem cell research and cell and gene therapy (CGT) under cGTP/cGMP guidelines. Starting as a laboratory technician, he advanced to lab manager before transitioning to the quality side as Director of Quality. In this role, he has established the company's manufacturing processes, LIMS and QMS systems, bio-bank management, aseptic techniques, environmental monitoring, and QC/QA programs from the ground up. He is also leading the design, validation, and compliance efforts for ACT's new facility in South Florida. In addition to his quality management responsibilities, he co-manages the R&D team alongside the Chief Scientific Officer to optimize and develop new advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs). He holds a B.A. and M.S. in Biomolecular Sciences from Central Connecticut State University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Miami.
