David Carpiniello Bristol Myers Squibb

David Carpiniello is a Scientist in the Microbiology Center of Excellence at Bristol Myers Squibb. He has been involved in many validation studies for the department, impacting both clinical and commercial microbiological methods and spanning all modalities at BMS (oral solid dosage forms, biologics, and ATMPs). He is the validation SME for several rapid sterility technologies, including the BacT/Alert and the Celsis system. David also trains analysts across the company when needed if a new technique is developed. He has previously performed environmental monitoring and water/utility testing and continues to perform traditional bioburden and endotoxin testing and validations as a key technical leader in the Center of Excellence.
