Daryll Hayse Amgen

Through his 25-year career at Amgen, Daryll has held various roles in Manufacturing, Project Management, and Quality. His career began in drug substance manufacturing in 1998, but Daryll moved within two years into a Project Management role where he spent another two years before making his career defining move into Quality. Daryll then spent seven years in various Quality Management Systems role providing “ownership” for a number of different Quality processes, including Deviations/CAPA, Change Control and Quality Risk Management.

Daryll then transitioned from process design to process execution and spent thirteen years leading different QA teams with oversight of manufacturing operations producing clinical and commercial drug substance, drug product and finished drug product. In that time Daryll also ventured outside manufacturing and led the QA teams supporting Incoming Raw Material Quality and external Distribution Quality for Amgen’s Thousand Oaks facility.

Most recently, Daryll has, in a manner, come full circle and is now leading the Site Quality Operations team at Amgen’s Thousand Oaks facility, a team that supports functional groups with site wide scope, including Supply Chain, QC, Incoming QA and Quality Management Systems.

Daryll received his B.A. in Biology from Point Loma Nazarene University and his M.A. in Physiology from UCLA.
