Chris Dayton is the Co-Founder and CEO of QualityAssured.ai, where he leads the development of closed-system, on-premise AI built for pharmaceutical Quality Assurance and Quality Management workflows. He has worked with top 25 pharmaceutical companies on large-scale AI initiatives, including a $0.5MM pilot, and is recognized as a thought leader in AI governance for regulated industries. Before founding QualityAssured.ai, Chris has spent a decade in biomanufacturing and quality operations with leadership roles at Resilience, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and BioMarin Pharmaceuticals. He directed teams of 30+, supported major tech transfers, oversaw 10X scale-ups, and led multi-million-dollar improvement projects that boosted efficiency and compliance readiness. Chris is also active in industry education, delivering invited talks at industry events, running AI literacy webinars for QA and Regulatory professionals, and contributing to working groups focused on the responsible use of AI in pharma. His expertise spans bioprocessing, quality systems, and regulatory compliance, with a current focus on applying Large Language and Reasoning Models to strengthen QDS, QMS, and QRM frameworks, ensuring inspection readiness while safeguarding patient safety and data integrity.
