Charalampos Koutsoulas PharmD, PhD BioNTech SE

Charis is Director of Global Product Quality at BioNTech SE. He is pharmacist by training and holds a PharmDr. and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology. His prior experience include Director CMC at BioNTech SE, Manufacturing project lead at AC Immune, Head of R&D at Polymun Scientific. In his previous positions he gained experience in development and GMP manufacturing of lipid-based drug products and acquired the title of QP. Charis has more than a decade of experience in QbD-driven formulation and process development of liposomes and LNPs focused on oncology and neurodegenerative diseases. He is an expert in the NANO WP of EDQM.
